How to Integrate Content Marketing

By Brad Miller

What is Content Marketing?

CMI defines content marketing as:

...a marketing technique of creating and distributing relevant and valuable content to attract, acquire, and engage a clearly defined and understood target audience – with the objective of driving profitable customer action.
Content marketing is more about the creation and distribution of content that attracts, acquires, and engages your customers and prospects. Therefore, any content that is created to meet this objective can be defined as content marketing.

Facebook Is A Fundamentally Broken Product That Is Collapsing Under Its Own Weight

By Jay Yarow

"I would expect that next year, people will share twice as much information as they share this year, and [the] next year, they will be sharing twice as much as they did the year before," he said.

The New York Times called it "Zuckerberg's Law," a playful homage to Moore's Law, named after Intel co-founder Gordon Moore, who said, "The number of transistors incorporated in a chip will approximately double every 24 months."

Why do Men and Women Follow Brands on Social Media?

By Shea Bennett on December

Why do you follow brands on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook? The answer might well depend on your gender.

Statistically, the glittering lure of offers and discounts is and always has been the number one reason why both men and women sign up for updates from brands on social channels, although it’s slightly more important to the latter than the former. Indeed, this divide between the genders becomes more apparent in other reasons why we connect with businesses online.

The Demographics Of Social Media Audiences

Business Insider's Cooper Smith explains social media demographics.

Here are where some of the biggest opportunities lie on the major networks:

Facebook's users skew younger, and that means brands that advertise luxury goods and services are still finding more success advertising in magazines than on social media. Other types of brands — such as fast-moving consumer goods — do perform well on Facebook. And Facebook users show high ad engagement overall, accounting for half of all retargeted clicks on the Web.
